Good Will Running 5K/10K
Race Description: The race is to be held on July 18th, 2009. Proceeds from the race fees will benefit The Lance Armstrong Foundation and Threshold Cycling.
Start/Finish: The gazebo behind the Bayside Expo Center along the waterfront.
Registration Opens: 8AM
Race Start: 9AM
The 5k & 10k races will begin 15 minutes
apart starting at 9AM.
Courses: Starting from the Parking lot Start/Finish area runners
will register for one of two courses: a 5K or a 10K race.

5K Out & Back Course:
The 5k Loop will take runners along Carson Beach on the sidewalk/roadway until
approximately the intersection of L street.

10K Lollipop Course:
Takes runners along the waterfront
and out on the loop of Pleasure Bay and then return to the MetroLacrosse

Parking: There is free parking available within a short walk to the Start/Finish
area. Sovereign Bank offices parking lot is not used on the weekends
and is available. Shaw's on Morrissey Boulevard is also available.
Additionally, there is a high school down the street that has parking.
If you would rather park closer to the Start you can park at the
bayside expo center although they will charge $4. |
